Here we are at Iceberg Lake. This is a beautiful blue, freezing cold lake, with melting glacier crystals floating on the surface. With all the snow, you would not know that it was about 80 degrees that day. To get to this lake, we hiked 5 miles up 1200 feet of elevation through falls, valleys, and fields of wildflowers.

An abundance of wildlife live here including Grizzly and black bears, mountain lions, mountain goats, deer, and wildflowers. Also, Glacier traverses the border into Canada and it is designated as an International Peace Park, symbolizing the peaceful relationship along the world's longest undefended border.

We took a trip out west to big sky country Montana for Kirsten's cousin Kaj's wedding. Since the wedding was in Hamilton, which is in western Montana, we took that opportunity to explore, hike, and camp in Glacier National Park for five days. The weather was beautiful while we were there, as was the wedding. The wedding was a really nice chance for our family, who rarely gets together, to catch up and spend some time together.
