Liam is 15 months old! Finally, we are all settling in to our new home and adjusting to life in Virginia Beach. We are starting to make friends , enjoying our new home, Daddy's slack schedule, and a very mild winter.
The day after Mommy and Daddy's Christmas Party, I got to go to one of my own. We got to ride on a plane to the North Pole, sing Christmas carols, sit on Santa's lap, eat cake and jump in a moonbounce. I was too young for most of these activities, but regardless, I had a blast!

This old hairy man dressed in red tried to make me sit on his lap and give me a gift. I wanted nothing to do with that nonsense!

I am such a Daddy's boy these days. See how happy I am here?

Now see what happens when Mommy tries to hold me? All I want is Daddy who is taking the picture!

Grandmommy came down just for the day, so she could babysit me so Mommy and Daddy could go out for the first time since I have been born. Thank you Grandmommy!

Our first date night in almost a year and half! We went to the squadron Christmas party. Fun!
The Canadian ship was in town and we were lucky to host four fun visitors for a whole day full of Wii, XBox, eating and hanging out with Liam

Thanksgiving 2007! Grandad Petersen comes up for a visit and a feast.

Liam thinks that it is cool to be Canadian

Here we are at the beach...this one didn't make the cut for the Christmas card...but it's nice background.

And out comes the Tiki monster when he is ready to entertain us!

Here is Liam and Mommy at the Capitol building in Colonial Williamsburg. We took a nice trip there to see the old city.
Here I am at 14 months...

Halloween 2007
Ah, yes. The Scarecrow, Dorothy, and the little Lion...we will love these family photos one day when we feel too old to dress up.

I'm not sure about this Trick-or-Treating thing, but these gourds are fun!

Trick-or-Treating, here I come!

Why is that pumpkin all lit up? Can someone please explain?

Mommy, what are you dressing me up as?

Come on, let's go!

I'm on the move!

Wow, look at the tree!

Just chillin' with Mama watching a Redskins game with our "new" tv. After being without tv for one month, it was so nice to relax and just watch the games.
Ahhh....warm, sunny beach. After settling on our house in Virginia Beach, we head to the beach to check it out. Back in October, it was still super warm, and Liam loved the sand. He wasn't so crazy about the ocean and the waves though. He cried when they came toward him and was really worried when his Daddy was standing in them. He tried to warn him to get out before he got hurt.
Here he is a couple of days after his first steps, practicing his new fun skill.

Such fun times!!! Liam took his first steps on August 20, 2007 . He was so cute when he first started walking because he would get really nervous, throw his arms in the air and scrunch up his face as if it helped him to balance. We were super happy to capture it on video and it was great that Grandmommy, Daddy and Mommy were all there to witness (Ella and Bubba too!)

Hey! I'm finally back online! Mommy told me that things have been very hectic around here over the past two months, and so my website took a backseat! Well, I'm back and hopefully, that won't happen again! I've been going through lots of changes, but overall, everything is going great. I am loving the warm weather they have here at Grandmommy's and Pop Pop's house. Mommy and Daddy say that we will be moving again next week to Virginia Beach. They told me I would really like it there and that we have a nice house to move into.

I am walking and talking like crazy these days! I took my first steps about two weeks before my first birthday, and now, I am a pro! I just love this new skill. Sometimes, I say words like "Bye" and "Mam mam", however Mommy has decided that my first official word is "Ella." I hear it everyday, and now I say it and point to Ella our dog. I am pretty sure that every dog is called Ella, as I saw my friend's dog the other day and said, "Ella."

With September here, it means only two things: my birthday and the beginning of football season. I've got my Redskins jersey on and I am ready to see them win!

What do you want?
Here I am, Mr. Cooley. Daddy really wanted me to wear Chris Cooley's jersey because he is from Logan, Utah.
As fall approaches, I go on my very first hay ride! It was fun to check out the haunted forest I saw along the way.

Liam had a wondeful first birthday. He was able to celebrate surrounded by family and friends. First, he visited and played. After that, he dug into some of the birthday monkey cake. Finally, to wash off the mess, he took a dip in his baby pool.
Here comes the guest of honor! He finally awoke from his nap to join the party. He wants to thank all of his friends and family who celebrated his birthday with him. And for all those who couldn't be there, Liam knows they were there in spirit!
Happy Duncans! Here is Liam's Godfather with Julia and new baby Finn!

It's so good to see you Jean! Oh, Steven. It's about 30 years past your first birthday!

Here is Mama's creation, Curious George monkey cake. It's all natural, made with no sugar, and lots of love! Liam approves.

Here is Edgar's sis's famous creation, Curious George cupcakes. They were the best cupcakes we have ever tasted. She is starting her own business. If you would like to see some of her amazing work, check out her website...

Here comes my Curious George monkey cake! If I could only get my hands on that flame!
Hey! That cake isn't so bad!
Mmmmmm....
Would you like some?
Now I've got a big slice!

Man is this pool fun!

Connor loves the pool too!
